Greetings, fellow adults who are currently wobbling their way in the real world. It sucks to be called in for lunch with your boss and realizing you have a Chicosci t-shirt on.

It happens to the best of us and that's fine. But being prepared and having the key things to have in your closet will make things easier.

1. LBD or the Little Black Dress

Many people acknowledge that it was "invented" by the great Coco Chanel back when she was mourning after the loss of her almost-lover. She wore an off shoulder LBD with a pearl necklace for the duration of her mourning.

But today an LBD is a celebration. They say that there is no correct LBD for everyone. It depends on your taste and personality. (list photos of different LBDs). An LBD comes in handy for funerals and formal occassions to even a date.

2. Blazer

3. Good pair of jeans

Classic jeans are everything and investing on a good pair is the wisest choice. Although it seems simple enough, picking out jeans that you would take with you to the grave is a bit more complicated. The proper length should be considered too.

6. Flats

You probably already own a pair of flats but are you changing them more than you should? Where do you find a good pair of flats that would last you years? A personal tip is: You won't find them in trendy high-chain stores.

7. Jacket

We live in a tropical country, I know I know. But also remember that we live in a typhoon-bipolar-weather country as well. There are also occasions where the aircon in the office is quite aggressive.

8. A wrist watch for function instead of fashion

Gone are the days when looking at the time means looking at your phone. You're not a teenager anymore.

There are a lot of wrist watches out there. Most probably you have one already. *cough* Michael Kors *cough* You pair them with your favorite outfit. But do you really use it?

Find a functional watch that's still pretty. If you prefer it digital or analog? Look for something that you will use everyday. It wouldn't hurt if it's fashionable as well! It looks professional and you don't have
