For 7-year-old Kaith, severe stress disorder Telogen Effluvium manifested as bald spots appeared on her scalp

According to dermatologists, *Telogen Effluvium* is the second most common form of hair loss on kids and adults.

Aside from stress and Telogen Effluvium, there are medical and nonmedical factors that can cause bald spots

For one, hair abuse or excessive hair brushing could cause this.

Another factor is the skin infection called *Tinea Capitis* which is common in children and is often shown in round scaly patches of bald spots.

There is also an immune disorder called *Alopecia Areata* which attacks the hair follicles instead of protecting them. This disorder develops to *Alopecia Totalis* or the loss of all of the hair on the scalp and, worst, to *Alopecia Universalis* which is a total loss of body hair.

Kaith's condition, however, did not seem to go away as the spot eventually grew bigger

According to Opalyn, the hair loss affected Kaith's self-confidence which made her worry a lot knowing that if left unattended, the bald spot could expand.

Opalyn found out that natural oils are famous for their moisturizing and healing properties. She decided to try Moringa-O² since it has three known powerful oils: Moringa (malunggay), olive oil, and omega (sunflower) oil

Moringa-O² contains moringa, olive oil, and omega oil which help address minor skin complaints such as cuts, bruises, burns, insect bites and rashes. It also helps minimize pimples, acne, blackheads and whiteheads and helps relieve irritated and itchy skin.

**Vitamin A** helps produce sebum on the scalp which prevents hair from drying and breaking. **Vitamin D** promotes hair growth and removes excess sodium from high-salt diets like junk foods which prevents the absorption of vital nutrients resulting to hair loss. While these vitamins and mineral work to promote healthy hair and scalp, its **Omega** properties support through actively improving the immune system thereby preventing the occurrence of bald spots.
