Can everyone stop dying now, please?

But, it's not just the post-election withdrawal that led to this. Looking back, most of our favorite people in the world died this year, too, and we can't say yet if we are looking forward to 2017.
So far, 2016 has been a hellish roller coaster ride
— From the hovering [*karoshi*] (http://says.com/ph/imho/a-look-into-japan-s-karoshi-culture) death cases in Japan, [burial of the late Ferdinand Marcos] (http://says.com/ph/news/bongbong-marcos-reminds-everyone-that-his-father-did-help-a-lot-of-filipinos) at the *Libingan ng mga Bayani*, to the rising number of [extrajudicial killings] (http://says.com/ph/news/richard-branson-says-duterte-s-campaign-to-end-drug-crime-is-bound-to-fail) in the country and that non-stop, however forlorn, [attempt to save the deteriorating environment] (http://says.com/ph/news/spark-hundred-islands), 2016 managed to produce more hapless events than we're used to handle.
One mourning Twitter soul, [christhebarker] (https://twitter.com/christhebarker), decided to compile the 43 deaths of this year in one image after hearing the passing of Leonard Cohen
He asked his followers to guess the "greats" in the image and it went viral.
Even Toblerone, Brexit and America were included in the list to be given proper memoriam
To be honest, however sad it looks like, it's nice to see the greats like [Muhammad Ali] (http://says.com/my/sports/why-the-late-boxing-champ-named-himself-muhammad-ali-from-cassius-marcellus-clay-jr), [Prince] (http://says.com/my/entertainment/prince-dead-at-57), David Bowie and [Alan Rickman] (http://says.com/my/entertainment/alan-rickman-quotes-irl) together in one photograph. It makes us realize how much space we have to fill now that they're gone.
