Travel Agency Fires Man Who Broke Teenager's Nose Over Road Dispute In Kajang

In a statement on Monday, 17 March, Altis Holidays Sdn Bhd said the man seen in the videos circulating on social media had only been working as a freelance mutawif (religious travel guide) with the company.
Altis Holidays clarified that he was not an advisor as stated on his Facebook profile.
"Our company has lodged a police report to protect the business and in response to the individual's actions of uploading Facebook profile details that have caused public confusion.
"We are also making this official announcement to clarify that the company has no connection, responsibility, or liability for the individual's personal actions. The individual's behaviour does not represent the company," it said.

According to Berita Harian, the assault left the teenager with a fractured nasal bone, and he received treatment at Hospital Kajang.
Videos and photos of the incident and the teenager's injuries were circulated on social media.
Investigations revealed that the teenager did not have a driver's licence and was issued a traffic summons, while the 39-year-old man was arrested on the same night and remanded for one day.
The case is being investigated under Section 279 and Section 325 of the Penal Code for reckless driving and voluntarily causing grievous hurt.
