As part of its annual Colours of Ramadan programme, redONE Foundation continued its tradition of giving back through food distribution, financial aid, and community activities

This year, volunteers from the foundation and community members of Surau Haji Taib in Kampung Sungai Gulang-Gulang, Tanjung Karang, gathered as early as 10am to prepare bubur lambuk for the local community's buka puasa meal.

Adding to the festive atmosphere, social media influencer Uncle Tokok (Harif Anas Haikal) actively took part in the preparations.

To further support the community, redONE Foundation also donated RM2,000 to Surau Haji Taib to help fund religious and community programmes. Attendees were given duit Raya and gifts, spreading joy in the spirit of Ramadan.

redONE Mobile has also partnered with six popular social media influencers for its redINFAQ campaign

As part of the campaign, 50 food packs will be distributed to those in need in Ampang, Kajang, Shah Alam, Kelantan, and Sabah, every Wednesday throughout Ramadan.

Additionally, the participating influencers — Uncle Tokok, Donna Muslim, Abang Bahulu, Era Suka Makan, Akak Strawberry Kajang, and Ain Ayam Cheese Jebok — will visit Ramadan bazaars, showcasing and promoting small businesses through engaging food reviews on their social media platforms.

This initiative not only provides food aid to those in need, but also helps boost sales and visibility for local vendors.

To further help small business owners, redONE Mobile has also launched the Ronda Bazaar Ramadan initiative, where its team will visit selected Ramadan bazaars across Selangor, Penang, Kelantan, Sabah, and Sarawak. This effort aims to draw more visitors to these markets, providing a boost for local businesses.

In line with its commitment to environmental sustainability, redONE Mobile will launch the Recycle & Reconnect campaign in April 2025, in collaboration with Electronic Recycling Through Heroes (ERTH)

Special recycling bins will be placed at selected redONE Mobile stores in Klang Valley, Johor Bahru, and Penang, where the public can drop off old mobile phones, chargers, and other unused or damaged electronic devices.

Proceeds from the recycling efforts will be donated to the aforementioned Surau Haji Taib, helping the local community while promoting responsible e-waste disposal.
