4 Family Members Nabbed For Stealing RM3,000 In Groceries With Insider Help From Daughter
The 27-year-old daughter is believed to be the mastermind behind the scheme.
Four family members have been arrested for allegedly conspiring to steal groceries worth approximately RM3,000 from a supermarket in Muar, Johor
According to Buletin TV3, the suspects include a 52-year-old mother, as well as her 43-year-old brother, 33-year-old son, and 27-year-old daughter.
They allegedly committed the act on three separate occasions: 14, 24, and 25 May.
Investigations revealed that the daughter, who worked at the supermarket in Parit Jawa, is believed to have masterminded the scheme.
The family allegedly entered the store between 6am and 7am, pretending to shop while filling two trolleys with various goods.
They would then proceed to the checkout counter manned by the daughter, who allegedly pretended to scan the items to make it appear as though payment had been made.
