1. Slaymaa: Volume 3 | 5 – 8 September

Y'ALL. Slaymaa market is back and it's coming in hot with a fairy grunge theme this time.

You can expect to find vintage fits, tattoo and piercing booths, and celeb vendors (who? you'll have to wait for the reveal).

Honestly, just bring your wallet and surrender.

2. Art For Strays | 6 & 7 September

A wholesome one for the weekend, this event brings together 12 animal-loving artists in an art showcase filled with creative workshops, paw-sitive pop-ups, and heart-melting adoption stories.

You might come for the cat doodles, but you'll end up staying because your heart simply won't let you leave.

All proceeds will support stray welfare and trap-neuter-release efforts.

3. Run, Coffee, Party | 6 September

4. Art + Design Market | 6 – 7 September

9. Drum Up | 12 – 14 September

Johor's cultural powerhouse is back! Drum Up JB returns to the Permaisuri Zarith Sofiah Opera House with Drums: A New Beat Beckons, a fundraising series that blends tradition with modern flair.

Get ready for thundering beats, goosebump-inducing rhythms, and a proud showcase of Malaysia's heritage, as the 24 Festive Drums artform sets its sights on UNESCO's Intangible Heritage List in 2026.

Basically, it's like Broadway, but with drums.

10. Pickle4 Paws | 13 September

12. Chef Angel's Paella Cookout | 13 September

13. Rentak Malaysiaku | 13 – 16 September

This Malaysia Day, GMBB is turning its creative community mall into a living stage with Rentak MalaysiaKu. It's a four-day cultural showcase that's basically Malaysia in surround sound.

Expect the soul-stirring Sapeh strings of Anderson Kalang, the sacred Main Jo'oh dance by the Mah Meri cultural group, and even a pop-culture-fied Wayang Kulit by Fusion Wayang Kulit.

14. Tramping Trek & Camp | 13 – 16 September

21. Emotional Baggage Live Show | 27 September
