The wait is almost over, PJ foodies. Mum's Place has officially announced its reopening date and it'll be on Tuesday, 27 January.
If you've been counting down since the beloved restaurant revealed its comeback, this is the update you've been waiting for.
Previously closing its doors in 2021, Mum's Place has long been loved for its comforting dishes like sambal petai cencaru, sambal sotong, hearty curries, and other old-school favourites that kept diners coming back for more
Its closure over two decades ago left many fans missing its bold, home-style flavours.
More than just a Peranakan restaurant, Mum's Place serves nostalgic dishes that bring together Malay, Portuguese, Nyonya, Indian, and Chinese influences, a true celebration of Malaysian comfort food.

Mum's Place will be reopening at a brand-new location

Operating hours
• Lunch: 11.30am – 3pm
• Dinner: 6.30pm – 10pm
