If you think your go-to nasi lemak stall deserves to be called 'the best in the Klang Valley', here's your chance to help them win the title
MyResipi, a popular Malaysian food community platform, has just launched its 'Makan Sini Best' campaign, running from August to September 2025, to find the ultimate nasi lemak as chosen by the people.
Here's how it works:
- Nomination phase (9-23 Aug): Comment on MyResipi's official Facebook, TikTok, and Instagram post with the stall's name, location, and why it's the best.
- Voting phase (10-22 Sep): The top five most-nominated stalls will be shortlisted, and you can vote for your favourite via the campaign microsite.
- Winner announcement (25 Sep): The most-voted stall will be crowned 'The Best Nasi Lemak in Klang Valley' and awarded an exclusive plaque from MyResipi.
"Through 'Makan Sini Best,' we want to celebrate authentic local tastes and the spirit of our grassroots entrepreneurs. Our goal is to let Malaysians themselves decide the true champion of nasi lemak. Aside from bragging rights for your favourite vendor, there are plenty of rewards up for grabs
As a thank-you to the community, MyResipi is rolling out a series of contests with exclusive prizes from Le Nona:
During the nomination phase, join the Creative Photo Contest on MyResipi's Facebook page for a chance to win a Le Nona Rosabelle Rice Cooker 1.8L.
The voting phase will feature the Best Comment Contest, giving you the opportunity to share why you and a friend deserve to enjoy a meal at the winning outlet. Two lucky winners will each receive a Le Nona Jumbo Rose Wok Set.
