The Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra (MPO) is levelling up its soundscape by collaborating with Sarawak-born multi-instrumentalist Belle Sisoski for a one-of-a-kind concert you won't want to miss

Happening on Saturday, 11 April 2026 at 8pm at Dewan Filharmonik PETRONAS, KLCC, this special performance promises a wild mix of orchestral grandeur, traditional instruments, and electrifying EDM energy.
Under the baton of Gerard Salonga, the MPO and Belle will bring cinematic and contemporary music to life, performing compositions from Hans Zimmer, movies such as Inception and Pirates of the Caribbean, Bate's Mothership, Bach's Toccata and Fugue in D minor, and Belle's own hits including Secrets, Hold On, Focus, and tracks from her album Ethnosphere.

Arrangers like Ilham Subri, Azhad Sulaiman, Jenny Chin, Luqman Aziz, Teuku Umar Ilany, Mac Chew, and Gerard Salonga himself have reinterpreted the music with orchestral flair, featuring ethnic instruments such as rebab, sape, gambus, sompoton, tapi, engkerumong, kompang, gendang, and Shigu Chinese drums.

Belle Sisoski is no stranger to breaking boundaries
A singer, songwriter, live-act DJ, and culture advocate, she's known for her one-woman shows that blend cinematic music, electronic beats, and traditional instruments into immersive auditory and visual experiences.
Among her accolades, Belle is the composer behind the Malaysia Day anthem We Are Malaysia, the first Malaysian finalist in the Commonwealth Song Contest (2022), and one of Rolling Stone UK's Best Independent Artists 2025. She even scored the indie film Scars (2023).
