Back by popular demand, Malaysian stand-up comedian Gajen Nad is returning to the live stage with his brand new one-hour show, Global Malaysian Chindian

After the success of his Netflix debut, Professional Mixed Breed, Gajen is now bringing a fresh set of stories and observations to audiences across Malaysia and beyond.
No recycled content; the jokes are all new. Fresh, fiery, and marinated in just the right blend of multilingual confusion and '90s Malaysian-style family trauma.
You may have seen him on stage, at a corporate event, or spiralling mid-rant on TikTok

But now, the Penangite is back doing what he does best, cracking up live audiences with tales of growing up rojak, navigating Asian parent expectations, and that one tragic time he tried to use a German toilet and got culturally humbled.
Global Malaysian Chindian dives into what it's like growing up mixed-race in the '90s, a time when being called "rojak" wasn't a compliment and half your identity depended on what school canteen food you chose.
If you've ever:
- Had your relatives interrogate your love life mid-makan
- Had to explain why your name doesn't match your face
- Been told "Wah your English very powderful" in public
… this show is for you.
And even if you haven't, go for the storytelling and stay for the existential giggles.
Here's where he'll be performing next:
- Melaka – 1 August
- Johor Bahru – 2 August
- Ipoh – 8 August
- Penang – 9 August
- Kota Kinabalu – 15 August
- Kuching – 16 August
- Hong Kong – 6 September
- Jakarta – 26 September
- Kuala Lumpur – 3 and 4 October
