This May, the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra (MPO) is turning one of cinema's most iconic films into a full-on live experience with Star Wars: A New Hope In Concert
Audiences will experience the movie in full as a live orchestra performs the score in perfect sync.
That means every lightsaber duel, dramatic reveal, and space battle will unfold with a full live symphony driving the action in real time.

Instead of just rewatching the film at home, this concert lets you experience it on a much larger scale
MPO will perform John Williams' score live, and if you're familiar with the franchise, you'll know his music is a huge part of what makes Star Wars so iconic.
From the opening crawl to the unforgettable main theme, his score helped shaped the entire saga and even earned an Academy Award for Best Original Score.

The concert will take place at Dewan Filharmonik PETRONAS in KLCC, with two showtimes available:
- 3 May 2026 (Sunday) at 3pm
- 4 May 2026 (Monday) at 8pm
