Malaysian YouTuber Logesh Kumaar, better known for his channel Kumaar Family, has admitted that his attempt at a full-time YouTube career failed

The family says they will be returning to regular 9-to-5 work after finding the full-time content creator lifestyle more challenging than expected.

The US-based Malaysian explained that his dream of quitting his job to focus solely on YouTube wasn't as smooth as he had imagined.

"It was my dream to try YouTube full-time, but in reality, to be honest, I failed," Logesh said.

The family shared this announcement in their latest video, titled The Dream is over, We're Moving.

"I would have regretted it more if I hadn't tried at all," he added.

Logesh also revealed that supporting their family financially became more challenging after committing to YouTube full-time

Their online earnings fluctuated, sometimes abundant, sometimes barely enough to cover all commitments.

He also said his creative freedom suffered, as creating content shifted from being fun to feeling like a constrained process.

After going through several job interviews, both Logesh and his American wife, Rachel Kumaar, eventually secured new jobs to support their family.

The Kumaar Family now lives in an apartment in Culver City, California, close to their new workplace.
