If you've ever paused mid-episode just to appreciate the background music, you already know anime soundtracks deserve their own spotlight.

Now imagine those iconic OSTs performed live in a full stadium, with hundreds of musicians, choirs, and performers bringing every note to life.

That is exactly what Kuching is getting at the end of this month.

The concert will feature a full vocal ensemble performing live, 60 professional orchestral musicians, a 50-member choir, and five to six professional vocalists

If your favourite anime OST already gives you goosebumps through your earphones, hearing it live with this many performers is going to be something else entirely.

You will hear music from Demon Slayer, Naruto, Studio Ghibli, and more

The concert will feature music from:

  • Demon Slayer
  • Naruto
  • Haikyuu
  • Studio Ghibli classics
  • Oshi No Ko
  • Your Name
  • Suzume
  • And more

Each soundtrack will be enhanced with immersive lighting, cinematic visuals, and explosive pyrotechnics, designed to pull audiences straight into the world of each anime rather than just playing the music on stage.

One of the most unexpected highlights is the appearance of Avantgardey, Japan's viral dance sensation known for their sharp movements, quirky expressions, and instantly recognisable choreography

Seeing Avantgardey perform on the same stage as a live orchestra is rare enough. While they performed at Zepp KL in December 2024, seeing it happen in Borneo is even rarer.

Their presence adds a completely different energy to the concert, blending anime music, performance art, and pop culture spectacle into one massive show.

Tickets are limited, and students get a discount

There is a 10% student discount, applicable to:

  • Students with a valid student ID
  • Fans under 18 years old

If you have been waiting for a reason to experience anime music live without flying overseas, this might be the biggest one Borneo has ever seen.
