It's officially raining purple again. BTS has announced that their long-awaited world stage comeback — and it'll be livestreamed globally on Netflix, so ARMYs everywhere can watch it happen in real time.

Titled BTS THE COMEBACK LIVE | ARIRANG, the global livestream will take place on 21 March 2026, marking the group's first live performance as a full septet since completing their mandatory military service.

The performance will be held at Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul, a historic landmark chosen to symbolise BTS' return not just as artistes, but as cultural ambassadors representing South Korea on a global stage.

The performance is set to take place after the release of BTS' fifth studio album, ARIRANG, which drops on 20 March

According to Big Hit Music, the album is meant to "transcend time and generations", a theme reflected in both the music and the setting of the comeback stage.

Netflix has also confirmed that this will be its first-ever globally livestreamed event broadcast from South Korea, making the moment even more monumental.
