In clips of the moment that have gone viral, Running Man cast Song Ji-hyo can be seen calling out to the women with a question that was part of their challenge.

The women ran to them with excitement, recognising the famous crew, and one quickly pulled out her phone to record the moment

During the encounter, the Running Man cast began by asking the two women if they spoke Korean and where they were from.

The Malaysians admitted they didn't know Korean, but proudly said they were from Malaysia, which led the cast to bow respectfully to them.

Surprisingly, the two women managed to clear the cast's challenge despite not speaking Korean

According to social media posts, the task was to get a tourist to continue a word chain using the last syllable — without explaining the rules to the tourist beforehand.

Song Ji-hyo gestured excitedly and started off with the word "Gangnam", looking expectantly at the two Malaysians.

To everyone's surprise, one of them responded with "Namdaemun", sending the entire cast jumping with excitement.
