The Google currency conversion widget for the Malaysian ringgit (RM) is working again!

Google has reinstated its currency converter widget for the Malaysian ringgit on its search platform, more than a year after it was taken down due to inaccurate exchange rate reporting.

The widget seems to be working as usual today, 18 April, allowing users to obtain real-time exchange rates directly via Google Search.

The feature enables quick conversions between currencies — such as "USD to RM" or "RM to JPY"— without the need to visit third-party websites.

The tool is particularly useful for individuals monitoring currency fluctuations or preparing for international travel.
