Did you know that the first female pilot to earn the Pilot-in-Command title is an Igorota? Her name is Marjorie Mukay and she's from the beautiful place of Tinglayan, Kalinga (where Whang-Od lives)!

What is a Pilot-in-Command, you ask? According to Wikipedia, "the pilot in command (PIC) of an aircraft is the person aboard the aircraft who is ultimately responsible for its operation and safety during flight." #GirlPower
**Marjorie Mukay received the recognition C-130 Hercules Pilot-In-Command last 9 March 2016 at Fernando Air Base, Lipa City with President Benigno S Aquino III, the Commander-in-Chief, as the Presiding Officer.**
**That's not all! Back in 2013, during the aftermath of the Bohol earthquake and Super Typhoon *Yolanda*, Major Marjorie Mukay gained much recognition during her Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief operations there. What can this woman NOT do?**
According to [DWDD] (http://dwdd.com.ph/2015/in-photo-ii-first-filipina-c-130-pilot-flies-the-cgpaf-prior-to-his-retirement/), Mukay graduated top 10 of the PMA "SANLINGAN" Class of 2005 who made her maiden flight as the first Filipina C-130 Pilot-In-Command in PAF's history last November 10, 2015.
