“Which Country Elected Anwar” – PM Featured On ‘Who Wants To Be A Millionaire’ In India

The question was asked by legendary Indian actor and TV host Amitabh Bachchan.

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim's name was recently featured on a reality television (TV) show, _Who Wants To Be A Millionaire_ in India

In a segment of the show, Amitabh Bachchan, a legendary Indian actor and TV host, asked a contestant, "Which country elected Anwar Ibrahim as its Prime Minister in 2022?" reported Kosmo.

He was then given four answer choices, Iran, Malaysia, Bahrain, and Indonesia.

The contestant who appeared calm then chose the correct answer of Malaysia and won INR640,000 (RM34,231). He successfully passed to the next round.

The video quickly went viral on social media, and Malaysians were impressed by how well-known Anwar is outside of Malaysia

One user commented that Anwar has a high influence and that the world recognises his talent.

"This question is too easy. Try asking which country elected Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin as their Prime Minister and I can confirm that he'll fail to answer," said another.
