From origami jewellery to slime, you'll definitely enjoy browsing this pop-up market!

Over 200 children aged 5 to 15 will be setting up shop as part of the 8th Annual Children's Business Fair Kuala Lumpur.
From 12pm to 4pm, visitors can browse through more than 100 kid-run booths, featuring everything from handmade accessories and greeting cards to tech-savvy inventions and tasty treats.
Entry is free and open to the public.

Each child is expected to manage their own business, from product development and pricing to branding and sales
While parents may help prep logistics, they're not allowed to sell on behalf of their children. In fact, adult interference could lead to immediate disqualification.
The idea? To give kids the space to experiment, problem-solve, and confidently pitch their ideas. These little entrepreneurs are gonna take over the world!

Previous fairs have seen some pretty creative ventures, including personalised gift kits, financial literacy tools for kids, and even slime-based science demos
The only limit is their imagination.
And while some booths lean cute and crafty, others reveal surprising marketing savvy and business instincts, making the event a favourite among educators, curious shoppers, and would-be investors.
To recognise standout efforts, RM100 prizes will be awarded in three categories across three age groups (5–7, 8–10, and 11–15):
- Most Business Potential
- Most Creative Idea
- Most Impressive Presentation
Some of the more articulate young founders will also be available for interviews, offering a rare chance to hear directly from the next generation of changemakers.

The Children's Business Fair began in Austin, Texas, and has since expanded to 3,546 events in 641 cities worldwide
It's supported globally by Acton Academy and locally by Acton Academy Kuala Lumpur, along with its sister initiative Acton Next Great Adventure.
"Today's youth are tomorrow's business innovators and leaders," said Jeff Sandefer, founder of the Acton School of Business. "The Children's Business Fair allows them to spread their entrepreneurial wings and get a head start on promising business careers."

At the heart of the event is a simple philosophy: kids learn best by doing
Instead of textbook lessons, they're given the space (and a little structure) to explore creativity, resilience, and business basics all in one afternoon.
The result? A wholesome, energetic fair where visitors walk away inspired, and young participants walk away more confident in their ability to turn ideas into reality.
