Fed 473 litres of water every day, a giant pumpkin grown by twin brothers in the UK has claimed the title of the world's largest
Winner of the Giant Vegetable Weigh-Off, it tips the scales at 1,279kg — about the weight of two bulls — and measures almost 6.5m in circumference!
And it took around 130 days for this pumpkin to grow from the size of a golf ball to a world-record giant.

According to Daily Mail, the pumpkin is owned by twin brothers Ian and Stuart Patton from Hamsphire in the UK
They spent around six hours each day feeding it and regulating its temperature to maximise its growth.
According to Ian, besides being watered heavily every day, the pumpkin, which has good genetics, was kept in a greenhouse at all times to reach this size.

Ian's granddaughters, Etta and Martha, enjoyed lending a hand — and even having little conversations — with the pumpkin.
Before this, the Guinness World Record for heaviest pumpkin belonged to Travis Gienger, whose pumpkin weighed 1,247kg.
