Known online as Aori, the former model has over 603,000 followers on Instagram and is widely recognised for her fashion and lifestyle content.
In 2021, she posted photos showing bruises across her body, claiming they were the result of a treatment she was encouraged to undergo by a clinic.
She had initially sought care to improve her overall health, but during her consultation, staff insisted she was in "poor physical condition" and had a low chance of pregnancy, pressuring her into a "health injection".

The procedure involved general anaesthesia for what was meant to be a two-hour session
Aori said she only woke up much later in the evening to find her body covered in bruises.
The clinic explained, "You experienced excessive blood loss during the procedure, and it took extra time to stop the bleeding."
Despite ongoing pain, breathing difficulties, and a diagnosis of pneumothorax — suspected to have been caused by a misplaced needle — the clinic denied any wrongdoing, refused a refund, and asked for more money to treat the bruising.

Later, Aori learned that the person who attempted to stop the bleeding was a consultant with no medical qualifications
When her story went viral, the clinic filed a defamation lawsuit demanding 1.3 billion won (RM4.7 million) in damages.
On 16 May, the South China Morning Post reported that the court ruled in Aori's favour, stating her claims were true and not defamatory.
The outcome has since reignited public scrutiny of cosmetic clinics and how they operate.
