A social media post purportedly showed an employee at a well-known hair care centre in Kuala Lumpur earning RM58,363.50 in a single month, far above his basic salary of RM3,000

The post, shared by a netizen believed to be a financial planner, included a payslip showing that the employee's sales commission alone was over RM39,000.

"Look at this payslip! Total income of RM58,363.50!

"It's simply unbelievable! And this isn't a CEO, he is just a staff at a hair centre. His sales commission alone exceeds RM39,000!" read the post.

The hair care centre is said to be located in a shopping mall in KL.

"Who says you can't get rich working in the service line? But, take a closer look at his net income!" he added.

The post also warned about managing high, commission-based income

"If you have this kind of variable income and want to use it for a home, car, or business loan, you need to be careful," the financial planner said.

According to him, banks usually focus on fixed incomes.

Some social media users questioned whether the financial planner was right to publicly share someone else's salary slip

However, others noted the high costs of hair centre services.

"They will ask you to pay via credit card instalments. You really have to say 'No' right then and there, because a single package can cost over RM10,000. Those who need their services must be cautious with their spending," wrote one.

Another user shared that a lawyer working at his company also had their hair cut at the same mall, paying as much as RM10,000 for a single session.
