The 2019 Oscars Is Not Airing In Malaysia, So Here Are The 22 Memorable Moments We Missed

Cover image via ABCIt's been a rocky journey for the 2019 Academy Awards. Having lost its host and receiving backlash for several programming proposals, things were kind of a mess for Hollywood's Biggest Night.

However, as a rock legend once said – the show must go on… and the 2019 Oscars went off without a hitch last night at the Dolby Theatre.
Sadly for us, the 2019 Oscars was not and will not be aired in Southeast Asia (except Thailand), as regional players – including Astro – were unable to secure broadcasting rights to air the event
Historically, HBO Asia holds the rights to air the Oscars in the region, but has not commented on why it did not do so this year.
As such, here's a recap of the highlights of the 2019 Oscars:
1. For some of the hottest names in showbiz today, it was their first time attending Hollywood's Biggest Night
