Malaysian concertgoers have raised concerns, claiming they have not received any updates after The Calling's concert in Kuala Lumpur was rescheduled
The situation began after Lock Up Event announced that the US rock band would be performing in KL in February 2026.
However, two weeks after the initial rescheduling announcement, some fans say they have not received any further information about refunds.
In a statement shared online just five days before the scheduled concert, the organiser said the show would be rescheduled to April 2026 due to adjustments to The Calling's Southeast Asia tour travel and flight schedule.

"This rescheduling is due to adjustments in The Calling's Southeast Asia tour travel and flight schedule, to ensure a smoother and more coordinated tour itinerary," the statement read
The organiser added that the change would also affect other cities on the tour, and that further updates would be announced later.
Ticket purchasers were informed that they would receive follow-up emails with details regarding the refund process.
However, some fans have stated that they have not received any further information about refunds.

Several concertgoers also shared that they had already purchased flight tickets and hotel accommodation for the event, adding to their concerns following the postponement.

Some users further noted that comments and direct messages on the organiser's Instagram page appear to have been disabled, which has made it difficult for ticket holders to seek clarification
Affected customers have since submitted complaints to the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living (KPDN) to raise awareness about the issue.
Fans affected by The Calling concert said refund information was previously communicated via email but claim they are still awaiting additional updates. As of now, no official public timeline for refunds related to the concert has been announced.
SAYS has reached out to Lock Up Event but has yet to receive a response.
Ticketmelon told SAYS that they are looking into the matter:
"We are coordinating closely with the event organiser, Lock Up Events, to facilitate the necessary arrangements. Once refunds have been processed or if there are any further updates, customers will receive a notification via the email address used for their ticket purchase."

This is not the first time the organiser has faced criticism over a concert disruption. In January, they also suddenly rescheduled Secondhand Serenade's concert.
Following that, the organiser announced via Instagram that refunds would be processed directly to customers' bank accounts, adding that delays were caused by procedural requirements and new ticketing platform processes introduced in 2026.
The organiser clarified that the artiste was already in Kuala Lumpur on the scheduled concert date, but the show could not proceed due to certain procedural matters involving authorities.
