Electronic music fans in Malaysia, you might wanna start saving up — Fred Again.. just announced his first-ever Asia set at Fuji Rock Festival this July, and there's a solid chance a bigger tour is on the way

The London-based singer has been confirmed as one of the headliners for Japan's iconic Fuji Rock Festival 2025, happening on 25 July.

This marks his debut performance in Asia, which is a huge moment for fans who've been waiting for the British DJ and producer to finally head east.

However, fans think he's teasing an Asia tour and the clues are actually quite convincing

Shortly after the Fuji Rock announcement dropped, Fred Again.. (or rather, his private, fan-favourite Instagram account) posted a photo of a red T-shirt with one very interesting detail — the word "again" printed in four different languages.

The shirt featured:

  • "again lah" — referencing Malaysian/Singaporean slang
  • "다시" — Korean
  • "また" — Japanese
  • "อีก" — Thai

Naturally, fans lost their minds.

Could it just be a cheeky merch drop? Maybe. But many are convinced it's a hint at upcoming tour stops.

To make things even juicier, Fred also posted on his Instagram Story: "Obviously, we're not going all this way for one show.. Sign up if you wanna know about any others in SE Asia."

Fred Again.. has a track record of expanding his tour schedule after major festival appearances

According to EDMNOMAD, after wrapping up his 2023 European tour with five sold-out nights at London's Alexandra Palace, he went on to break records in Los Angeles with nine back-to-back sold-out shows at the Shrine Expo Hall.

Australia saw a similar story — sold-out arena nights in Sydney and Melbourne, with surprise pop-up gigs added as demand soared. His Sydney Opera House show sold out in 24 hours, with over 145,000 ticket requests — the most in the venue's history.

And each time, the extended dates followed big festival appearances. So, if history's any guide, Asia could easily be next.
