Diana Danielle And Farid Kamil Divorce For The Second Time
Their previous divorce in 2023 followed allegations of financial issues and irreconcilable differences.
Malaysian celebrity couple Diana Danielle and Farid Kamil have officially divorced for the second time, marking the end of their 12-year marriage
The Federal Territories Syariah Court finalised the divorce yesterday, 24 March, with Farid pronouncing a single talaq before Judge Abdul Fattah Kamaruddin, reported Malay Mail.
"Farid has divorced Diana with one talak. So, that makes it two talak, and this is their second divorce. Praise be to God, we have settled this amicably," said Syariah lawyer representing Diana.
This comes after a tumultuous relationship marked by a previous divorce on 10 August 2023, which saw the pair reconcile just 21 days later. However, Diana filed for divorce again on 4 November 2024, leading to their latest separation, according to The Star.
Both actors remained composed during the court proceedings and emphasised their commitment to co-parenting their two children, Muhammad, 11, and Nur Aurora, 9
Speaking to the media, Farid expressed gratitude towards Diana, stating, "In this blessed month of Ramadan, everything is now settled. I am grateful to Diana for being understanding," reported Harian Metro.
Diana, meanwhile, stressed the importance of prioritising their children's wellbeing and maintaining a harmonious relationship post-divorce.
"Both of us can now focus on our children while maintaining a good friendship. What matters most is the wellbeing of the children," she told Berita Harian.
The couple, who were once considered among Malaysia's most admired celebrity duos, have had a rocky history of public disputes and legal proceedings.
Their previous divorce in 2023 followed allegations of financial issues and irreconcilable differences, though they briefly rekindled their relationship, reported New Straits Times.
